Most of us probably use commercial brush cleaners or paint thinners to remove the dry paint.
Plus, they can get pricey.
If you are looking for an alternative that is proven effective, try Murphys oil soap.
It will dissolve the paint without harming your brushes.
Do not let the paint dry once you are done painting.
Wash it immediately and let it air dry.
It should be enough to fully submerge the bristles.
Step 3:
Fill the bucket with lukewarm water and hang the paint screen inside.
Take your paintbrush and start running the paint comb.
Do it in one direction.
Step 4:
Rinse it well to remove the build-up paint.
Step 5:
Change the water and rinse it thoroughly.
Step 6:
Lay your brush on a rack to let the excess water drip.
Let it dry completely.
Use a rubber band to keep it in place.
It will keep the brush in great shape.
