Next, place your blocks in order and sew each block with right sides together at 1/4-inch.

After this, press the seams open.
Now, grab your backing fabric and place your quilted piece on top.
Trim off your excess backing.
when you obtain your blocks quilted, trim and square them up so they are all the same size.
Sew at a 1/4-inch seam to secure the strips to your block, then trim off any excess strips.
