The amount of salt depends upon the clog size.
If youre doing this as a preventative, do at least a tablespoon.
Next, grab some citric acid and get a teaspoon down the drain as well.

Once youre done, leave and let everything sit overnight.
The next morning, pour some apple cider vinegar down your drain.
(It will work much faster if you boil down your apple cider vinegar.)
