Searching for a new quilt project?
If you are, I have an easy and beginner-friendly pattern for you.
It combines the + sign and the x sign, as the name suggests.

Anyone can recreate this block at home as its super easy.
The only hard part of this project is the corner square.
You will be snowballing two opposite corners for each square.
The rest are just made from squares and triangles sewn together.
You wont have a hard time finishing this block.

Pin it in place.
Take another 2.5 white square and place it on the opposite corner.
Pin it in place.
Sew directly on the line.
Trim 1/4 away from the seams.
Repeat with the remaining 4.5 squares.
Step 3:
Take the blue squares and pair with two mustard squares.
Sew them in pairs on one side, right sides together.
Press open toward the dark side.
Press open toward the dark side.
Step 5:
Arrange everything just like in the photo below.
Sew them rows first.
Once the rows are done, sew them together to make the block.
